Another chapter in the church/school ministry is being written and I am blessed to be part of it. My name is Rick Robertson and I have been called to be your new headmaster. I am excited and encouraged in the Lord to begin my 30th year in Kingdom education. As long time Floridians, (’72 and ’74 respectively) my wife Patti and I are looking forward to growing new roots on the east coast. 29 years of marriage and ministry has taught us to “delight in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.” Over those years we have desired to serve Him, serve our church, and have a family that loves the Lord and enjoys each other. He has blessed us with two boys (young men now) who came through the church, AWANA, and our Christian schools.
As I have been introduced to FB Christian School, I have found a spirit of warmth, friendliness, and commitment. I’ll bring to the school a committed history with ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International), a supportive relationship with SBACS (Southern Baptist Association of Church Schools), a degree in Education, MS in Ed Admin. and an appreciation to give our youth a “Christian world & life view” for their future. Most importantly, I’ll bring a friendly face, a firm faith and an open door to each of you. As I take on the challenge of moving the school forward, I will bring an enthusiasm for the Christian life and an expectation for excellence in our school. Each one of us - parents/staff/students - has the great joy and privilege of entrusting each other with that future. I look forward to partnering for success with all of you for many years to come.
